A person was killed Monday in a traffic crash on the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway in the Long Beach area.
The crash was reported about noon near the Artesia (91) Freeway, according to Caltrans and the California Highway Patrol.
Information on the identity of the fatally injured person was not immediately available.
Several lanes of the northbound 710 Freeway were closed in the area while an investigation was conducted.
