A woman was killed and a teenager was hospitalized with injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash late Wednesday in West Los Angeles.
The collision was reported about 5:15 p.m. at 10730 W. Olympic Blvd., near Overland Avenue, according to Brian Humphrey with the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The woman, whose name was not immediately released, was “[b]riefly trapped in the wreckage and sadly beyond medical help,” Humphrey said. She died at the scene.
The teenage driver of the other vehicle was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries, he said.
