Some lanes of the San Diego (405) Freeway in the Sepulveda Pass will be closed next week for construction on the Getty Center Drive Bridge.

From Monday through Thursday, the north and southbound HOV lane and one left lane of the northbound portion of the freeway will be blocked between Moraga Drive and Sepulveda Boulevard starting at 11 p.m.

The southbound HOV lane will reopen at 5 a.m. and the northbound lanes at 6 a.m. the next morning, according to Caltrans.

The HOV lanes and one left lane on both the northbound and southbound San Diego Freeway will close at 11:59 p.m. next Friday and reopen the next morning beginning at 6 a.m.

During the closures, crews will work to “reinforce structural concrete on the Getty Center Drive Bridge and to place shoulder paving,” said Marc Bischoff, public information officer with Caltrans District 7.
