One person was killed Thursday morning after a multi-vehicle crash on the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway in Hacienda Heights in which a vehicle caught fire, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash occurred about 5:35 a.m. near Hacienda Boulevard, according to the CHP.
Information on the fatally injured person’s identity was not immediately available.
The carpool and left three lanes of the freeway were blocked until further notice, the CHP said.
