Fire Saturday damaged an attic at a one-story home in Sylmar.
Firefighters dispatched at 3:53 a.m. to the 14000 block of west Rex Street had the blaze out at 4:20 a.m., said Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
