A man died Saturday in a multi-vehicle crash on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in Santa Monica.
The crash on the eastbound 10 at the McClure Tunnel was reported at 5:46 p.m., California Highway Patrol Officer Elizabeth Kravig said.
The man apparently died at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The CHP issued a SigAlert and all eastbound lanes were temporarily blocked at the accident site for the death and crash investigations. There was no word yet on when they will be reopened.
No other injuries were so far reported.
