A person was critically injured Friday evening when an SUV overturned in the Green Valley area of Santa Clarita.
The crash was reported about 6:30 p.m. on San Francisquito Canyon Road at Spunky Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Witnesses reported a silver Honda SUV took a turn too fast and overturned, sending one person out of the vehicle and onto the ground.
The patient was airlifted to a trauma center with head trauma in critical condition, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
