Firefighters in South Los Angeles Saturday knocked down a blaze at a vacant single-story commercial building that was also the site of a previous burn, authorities said.

Firefighters dispatched at 6:42 a.m. to 254 W. Gage Ave. had the fire out within 12 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
