Firefighters extinguished a house fire Sunday evening in Sun Valley.
The blaze heavily damaged the home at 13305 W. Arminta St., said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
The fire was reported at 8:38 p.m., Humphrey said.
The department dispatched 46 firefighters to the scene. Flames were knocked down in about 30 minutes, he said.
Four residents of the home managed to leave before the firefighters arrived, Humphrey said.
no injuries occurred and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
