Seven hikers were rescued by helicopter Monday after they became lost in Malibu Creek State Park.
The group called the Los Angeles County Fire department about 4:10 p.m. after they became disoriented while returning from hiking a trail in the park, a department spokesperson told the Los Angeles Times.
Fire department units discovered the group not far from the “M*A*S*H” film set, and the hikers were airlifted from the area just after 5:55 p.m. without any injuries.
