The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Thursday for the 10th consecutive day and 13th time in 14 days, increasing 1.7 cents to $5.076, its highest amount since Nov. 20.

The average price has risen 14.6 cents over the past 14 days, including 1.3 cents Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It rose three consecutive days, dropped one-tenth of a cent March 18 and resumed increasing March 19.

The average price is 8.5 cents more than a week ago, 25.2 cents higher than one month ago and 22.2 cents greater than one year ago. It has dropped $1.418 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price rose for the 10th consecutive day and 13th time in 14 days, increasing 1.5 cents to $5.031, its highest amount since Nov. 10. The Orange County average price has increased 15.2 cents over the past 14 days, including 1.4 cents Wednesday. It rose three consecutive days, dropped one-tenth of a cent March 18 and resumed increasing March 19.

The Orange County average price is 8.1 cents more than a week ago, 23.6 cents higher than it was one month ago and 22 cents greater than one year ago. It has dropped $1.428 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price rose three-tenths of a cent to $3.538, one day after increasing two-tenths of a cent It is 1.1 cents more than it was one week ago, 24.4 cents higher than it was one month ago and 10.3 cents greater than one year ago.

The national average price has dropped $1.478 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
