At least one person was injured Monday when a vehicle towing a pickup with a camper went off the freeway and struck a light pole in Chiriaco Summit.
The collision occurred at 11:47 a.m. Monday at the bottom of an eastbound I-10 freeway off-ramp, according to California Highway Patrol records. The vehicles ended up on the right-hand shoulder, wrapped around the pole.
All occupants were able to exit the vehicles. A towing agency, medics and multiple CHP units were called to the scene.
At least one person was injured, although the nature and extent of the injury was unclear. It was unknown if there were any other injuries.
