Authorities Tuesday identified a man who was struck and killed by a Foothill Transit bus in the unincorporated Hacienda Heights area of Los Angeles County.
Officers responded near the intersection of Azusa Avenue and Pepper Brook Way around 5:45 p.m. Monday regarding a collision involving an unresponsive pedestrian, according to the California Highway Patrol.
On Tuesday, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the fatally injured man as Chi Tan Wong, 79, of Hacienda Heights.
The circumstances of the death were under investigation.
