A 39-year-old man was killed Tuesday in a crash on the Harbor (110) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles.
A witness told the California Highway Patrol at 4:57 a.m. Tuesday that four vehicles were involved in the collision.
One person was confirmed dead, CHP Officer Sean Lough told City News Service.
He was later identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Andrew Harrison.
The CHP issued a SigAlert at 5:17 a.m. shutting down all northbound lanes, Lough said. One lane was reopened about 6 a.m., and the remaining lanes were reopened about 90 minutes later.
The circumstances of the crash remained under investigation.
