A person was killed Monday in a solo-vehicle crash on the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway in Santa Monica.
Officers responded to the Lincoln Boulevard off-ramp around 3:48 p.m. and determined a possibly gray four-door BMW had overturned on its roof and caught fire, resulting in the driver being pronounced dead at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol,
