The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped four-tenths of a cent Tuesday to $4.603, a day after rising three-tenths of a cent.
The average price is two-tenths of a cents less than one week ago, 12.3 cents lower than a month ago and 38.3 cents below one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.839 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price dropped three-tenths of a cent to $4.603, a day after it was unchanged. It is 1.6 cents less than one week ago, 14.1 cents lower than a month ago and 38.5 cents less than one year ago.
The Orange County average price has dropped $1.856 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose 1.1 cents to $3.139, a day after rising two-tenths of a cent. It is 6.1 cents more than one week ago but one-tenth of a cent less than one month ago and 39.5 cents lower than one year ago.
The national average price has dropped $1.877 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
