The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Thursday to its highest amount since June 7, increasing 2 cents to $4.911.
The average price has risen 12 of the past 13 days, increasing 26.2 cents, including 2.4 cents Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It rose three consecutive days, increasing 1 cent, dropped four-tenths of a cent March 25 and resumed increasing the following day.
The average price is 23.1 cents more than one week ago and 15.9 cents higher than one month ago but 27.3 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.583 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price rose to its highest amount since June 4, increasing 1.8 cents to $4.876. It has risen nine consecutive days, increasing 27.3 cents, including 1.4 cents Tuesday.
The Orange County average price is 23.6 cents more than one week ago and 16.1 cents more than one month ago but 27.4 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.583 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose for the 10th time in 11 days, increasing 2.2 cents to $3.26. The national average price has increased 13.4 cents over the past 11 days, including 3.7 cents Wednesday. It rose six consecutive days, increasing 3.3 cents, was unchanged Sunday and resumed increasing Monday.
The national average price is 10.5 cents more than one week ago and 16.3 cents higher than one month ago but 28.9 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.756 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
