A man whose body washed ashore in Long Beach was identified by county authorities Friday.
The man, identified by the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office as 40-year-old Lee Nielson, was found on Alamitos Beach on Tuesday. It was not immediately clear what time Neilson’s body was found.
The medical examiner deferred listing his cause of death.
An email to Long Beach Police was not immediately returned.
