A 44-year-old man accused of repeatedly intruding on the Tarzana estate of singer Chris Brown was expected back in court next month to face a trio of misdemeanor charges.
Michael Jonathan Williams was charged Monday with two counts of trespassing and one count of possession of methamphetamine, according to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office and court records. He pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charges on Monday and was due back in a Van Nuys courtroom for a pretrial hearing on June 9.
Williams was arrested Friday after he allegedly made multiple visits to Brown’s home.
Police told NBC4 the suspect was seen near Brown’s house last Wednesday and was told to leave by the singer’s security team. He left, but allegedly returned and tried to climb a fence, leading to his arrest, police told the station.
The criminal complaint alleges that Williams trespassed at the home twice — on Wednesday and Friday.
He was released from custody early Thursday and allegedly made two more visits to the area of Brown’s home. He was arrested again and booked into jail on Friday.
According to inmate records, Williams remained in custody over the weekend, but was released from custody Tuesday.
