One person was killed in Lancaster Saturday when a semi-trailer crashed into another vehicle.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol arrived at 12:53 a.m. Saturday to 165th Street E and East Avenue T where the semi sustained major damage to its front end, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
The vehicle involved in the crash was described as a Honda, which sustained major front end damage, the CHP said. That vehicle was taken off the roadway at 6:46 a.m.
The person, whose name, age and gender were not known, was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were other injuries reported, Kravig said, but no details were available.
