A man killed two weeks ago in a two-vehicle crash in Llano was publicly identified Saturday.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, now identified as 62-year-old Jose Depaz, according to the Medical Examiner’s office. The exact cause of his death was deferred pending further investigation.
The crash occurred at 4:45 a.m. June 20 on Pearblossom (138) Highway, just east of 165th Street East, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It involved a white Nissan Sentra and another vehicle, the CHP said.
