Los Angeles will host one of four live table readings of the “Three’s Company” pilot next year as part of a national tour marking the sitcom’s 50th anniversary and raising money for aortic health research, organizers announced Monday.

The John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health will bring its “Three’s Company Come And Knock On Our Door” tour to Los Angeles on Sept. 9, 2027. Details about the Los Angeles venue, cast and ticket sales were not immediately released.

The tour will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the sitcom, which DLT Entertainment adapted from the British series “Man About the House” and premiered for U.S. audiences on March 15, 1977.

The tour will begin Nov. 2 with a reading at Joe’s Pub in New York City, where Ritter’s widow, Amy Yasbeck, and original “Three’s Company” cast member Joyce DeWitt will co-host the foundation’s Evening From The Heart event.

Jason Biggs will portray Jack Tripper at the New York reading, while Richard Kline, who played Larry Dallas on the sitcom, will return as narrator. Readings are also planned Feb. 27, 2027, in Dallas and March 13, 2027, in Cleveland.

“This event is a celebration of John, the joy he brought to all of us through `Three’s Company,’ and the community that continues to carry his memory forward,” Yasbeck said. “Bringing the show to the stage 50 years later is our way to honor him while helping us continue our mission to save lives through aortic dissection awareness and research.”

Ritter died in 2003 from an acute aortic dissection that was initially misdiagnosed, according to the foundation.

Yasbeck founded the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health in his memory. The organization supports research, education and advocacy involving thoracic aortic disease.

“Bringing these classic scripts back to life on stage is not only a tribute to a show that meant, and continues to mean, so much to millions, but a meaningful way to honor John’s legacy and support lifesaving aortic health research,” DLT Entertainment President Donald Taffner Jr. said.
