Orange County sheriff’s deputies hope surveillance video released Wednesday will flush out a knife-wielding man who waited patiently while customers were served before he robbed a Stanton liquor store.
The non-injury holdup happened about 11:35 p.m. Tuesday at the La Pico Market at 10480 Beach Blvd.
The video shows the short, shaven-headed robber in his 20s, clad in an Oakland Raiders sweatshirt, waiting while other customers are served. He then brandished a knife, stole cash from a clerk and a bottle of beer from a customer.
He then got into the passenger side of a sport utility vehicle and fled.
