At one point during the pursuit, the suspect vehicle turned around, drove toward the officers, and shots were fired by one of the officers, according to a news statement from the Huntington Beach Police Department. No officers were injured.
The vehicle drove past the officers and was located in a cul-de-sac near Warner Avenue and Algonquin Street, where the suspects fled on foot, the news statement said.
The pursuit began at 2:50 a.m. in the area of Edinger Avenue and Edwards Street and went into the Huntington Harbor area.
