A former junior high school special education teacher made her initial court appearance Friday on charges of molesting two teenage boys.
Shauna Marie Sims, 35, of Brea, is charged with three counts of performing lewd acts on a child 14 and 15 years old and one count of unlawful sexual intercourse, along with a misdemeanor count of child annoyance.
Sims was a special education teacher at Parks Junior High School in Fullerton when she allegedly molested the boys, one 14 and the other 16. The boys were not students at the school, according to prosecutors.
Sims’ arraignment was rescheduled to June 19. She faces up to six years behind bar if convicted.
