A suspect was arrested in connection with the stabbing death of a 19-year-old man in Garden Grove.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was found near Avalon Avenue and Fairview Street shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday with multiple stab wounds, said Garden Grove Police Lt. Jeff Nightengale. He was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, where he died about 45 minutes later.
A suspect was arrested Friday at 3:50 p.m. and taken to the Garden Grove Police headquarters for questioning, Garden Grove Police Lt. Tom DaRe said.
“The suspect will be booked into the Orange County Jail for homicide,” DaRe said.
Details about the suspect were not immediately available.
