A female pedestrian was killed and a male pedestrian suffered minor injuries Saturday when they were hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of a Holiday Inn in Buena Park.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 1:23 a.m. to 7000 Beach Blvd., according to a dispatcher with the Orange County Fire Authority.
The woman was trapped underneath the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, said Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Mike Summers.
She was identified as 32-year-old Jessica Lynn Brown, according to ABC7.
The male victim was rushed to a hospital with minor injuries, Summers said.
A suspect, Nelson Ward Jr., 60, has been arrested, ABC7 reports.
The relationship between the three people is unknown.
A watch commander with the Buena Park Police Department could not be reached for immediate comment.
