A 70-year-old woman was in critical condition after she was pulled out of a spa at an Anaheim senior living facility not breathing, an Orange County Fire Authority captain said.
The woman was wearing shorts and a shirt, not a swimming suit, Lackey said. “She had been sitting on the edge of the spa and next thing they know she was in the water.”
The woman was not breathing but had a pulse when she was pulled out of the spa, he said. She was taken to West Anaheim Hospital in critical condition.
It was not determined whether a heart attack or other medical condition led to the woman falling into the spa, Lackey said.
The Friday afternoon incident was reported at a facility in the 3300 block of West Lincoln Avenue, said OCFA Capt. William Lackey.
