A Hesperia man accused of sexually assaulting two girls in Fullerton made his initial appearance in court Monday.

Michael Ray Lliteras, who was arrested on a warrant Saturday, is charged with seven felony counts of sexually assaulting two girls, including one 10 years or younger, according to court records.

Lliteras, who was being held on $1 million bail, was accused in a July 6 complaint of touching the girls on a couch, pool, jacuzzi and in an apartment, according to court records.

Lliteras was charged with six felony charges of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14 and a count of sexual penetration with a child 10 or younger, according to court records.

Lliteras also faces sentencing enhancement allegations for substantial sexual conduct with one girl and multiple victims, according to court records.

Fullerton police Sgt. Jon Radus said his department declined to comment “due to the sensitive nature of the investigation.” He said police were “fairly confident there were no additional victims outstanding.”

A message left with the prosecutor who filed charges, Rebecca Reed, was not immediately returned.

Lliteras’ arraignment Monday was rescheduled for Aug. 5.
