A 55-year-old woman who was fatally injured after she was hit by a pickup truck in Foothill Ranch was identified Sunday by the Orange County coroner.
Kathleen Cook of Foothill Ranch was hit outside 6 Eldorado about 9:25 p.m. Saturday, the coroner’s office said.
Cook was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, where she died about two hours later, according to the coroner.
There’s no word yet on whether the driver was cited.
The death investigation was being handled by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
