Police Friday circulated composite sketches of a suspect wanted for forcing his way into a woman’s car in Santa Ana and attempting to sexually assault her.
The attack happened about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 1600 block of South Pacific Avenue, according to Santa Ana police.
The woman was parking her car when the suspect approached from the driver’s side and “flashed” her, police said. The man then forced himself on top of her and tried to sexually assault her, but she managed to fight him off, police said.
He was described as Latino, about 24 to 30 years old and 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-7 with a medium build, medium to dark complexion and multiple pock marks or acne scars on his face. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and dark shoes with white soles.
