A hip-hop music producer, known as “Ramsay Tha Great,” pleaded not guilty Thursday to pimping two women in Anaheim.

Brandon Christopher Ramsay, 24, of Granda Hills, was charged with two counts of pimping and two counts of pandering by procuring, all felonies. He was ordered to return to court for a pretrial hearing Feb. 21.

Ramsay generated headlines last month when he alleged Chicago rapper Chief Keef was the culprit behind a home-invasion robbery of Ramsay in Tarzana, according to Anaheim police Sgt. Daron Wyatt.

Ramsay was criticized for “ratting” on the rapper, Wyatt said.

On Tuesday night, an undercover task force was looking for two prostitutes who investigators believed were underage, Wyatt said. It turned out one was 19 and the other turned 18 recently, Wyatt said.

Investigators allege Ramsay was pimping the women and he was arrested Tuesday night in the 1200 block of North Harbor Boulevard, Wyatt said.

Ramsay was being held on $70,000 bail, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. Court records show a public defender was appointed to represent him at Thursday’s arraignment.
