A big rig went off the side of the westbound Artesia (91) Freeway in Buena Park Friday, rolled down an embankment and ended up in the parking lot of a restaurant, authorities said.
The non-injury crash occurred about 7:15 a.m. at Beach Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol reported. The truck came to rest outside a Marie Callender’s Restaurant, according to the CHP.
The Nos. 3 and 4 freeway lanes were closed while crews worked to clear the scene. The cause of the crash was under investigation.
