A four-vehicle collision on the southbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway Tuesday morning in Santa Ana left several people injured and shut down lanes.

The crash was reported at 1:55 a.m. at Main Street, the California Highway Patrol reported.

One person was ejected from one of the vehicles and taken to a hospital and others were treated at the scene, according to reports from the scene. Their conditions were not immediately available.

The CHP shut down all southbound lanes, but by 4 a.m., two lanes were reopened. The rest of the lanes were reopened shortly before 6 a.m.
