The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was unchanged for the third consecutive day Tuesday after rising 32 times in 33 days.
The average price of $3.578 is six-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 13.9 cents higher than one month ago and 54.8 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 42.8 cents since the start of the year.
The average price rose 15.6 cents during the stretch of increases that ended Sunday.
The Orange County average price was unchanged, remaining at $3.538 after dropping two-tenths of a cent on Monday and one-tenth of a cent on Sunday. It is 1 cent more than one week ago, 13.4 cents higher than one month ago and 52.6 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 42.2 cents since the start of the year.
