The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent Tuesday to $3.749, one day after dropping one-tenth of a cent.
The average price is four-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 11.9 cents higher than one month ago and 69.1 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 59.9 cents since the start of the year.
The average price has not changed by more than one-tenth of a cent for five consecutive days.
The Orange County average price rose two-tenths of a cent Tuesday to $3.718 after rising by one-tenth of a cent for three consecutive days. It is 1.1 cents more than one week ago, 12.3 cents higher than one month ago and 66.8 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 60.2 cents since the start of the year.
