The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent Wednesday for the second consecutive day to $3.67.
The average price is one-tenth of a cent less than one week ago but 5.3 cents more than one month ago and 49.3 cents higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 51.8 cents since the start of the year because of higher oil prices.
The average price has changed by one-tenth of a cent six of the past seven days.
The Orange County average price rose four-tenths of a cent to $3.615, after dropping four of the previous five days, including by two-tenths of a cent on Tuesday. It is two-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 7 cents higher than one month ago and 46.1 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 49.9 cents since the start of the year.
