The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent Thursday for the second consecutive day.
The average price of $3.352 is two-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 8 cents lower than one year ago but 2.8 cents more than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped 3.9 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price rose two-tenths of a cent Thursday to $3.305, one day after rising one-tenth of a cent. It is three-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 9.4 cents lower than one year ago but seven-tenths of a cent more than one month ago.
The Orange County average price has dropped 4.4 cents since the start of the year.
