Firefighters extinguished an attic fire in an apartment building in the Harbor City area of Los Angeles in just 32 minutes Wednesday morning.

The first Los Angeles Fire Department units to arrive at 1553 W. Anaheim St., east of Western Avenue, were able to snuff out the flames in the attic of a two-story garden-style apartment building, according to fire department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

Knock down was declared at 5:28 a.m.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
