A big rig overturned on the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway in Anaheim Friday morning and prompted the closure of three lanes of the freeway for an unknown duration.
The semi overturned near the Orange (57) Freeway interchange about 3:15 a.m. and was blocking the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes of the freeway. The carpool lane remained open, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The trailer was about 40 feet long and weighed about 20,000 pounds. It was unknown what was in the trailer.
It was unclear what caused the big rig to overturn.
No injuries were immediately reported.
