A motorcyclist was injured Saturday in a crash with a sedan on Ortega (74) Highway in San Juan Capistrano.
The crash was reported at 1:51 p.m. on the eastbound Ortega Highway just west of Casper’s Regional Park, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The rider was reported down in lanes for at least 15 minutes and was said to have major injuries, according to the CHP.
A SigAlert was issued at 2:05 p.m. for eastbound Ortega Highway and the roadway was reopened at 2:20 p.m.
