The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose for the 26th consecutive day Saturday, increasing 1.2 cents to $5.385, its highest amount since Oct. 30.
The average price is 7.4 cents more than one week ago, 45.4 cents more than one month ago, and 44.4 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.109 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price also rose for the 26th consecutive day, increasing a half-cent to $5.344, its highest amount since Oct. 24. The Orange County average price is 5.4 cents more than one week ago, 46.4 cents more than one month ago and 41.5 cents more than one year ago. It has dropped $1.115 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped one-tenth of a cent to $3.633, ending a streak of 10 consecutive increases. It is 4.2 cents more than one week ago and 23.7 cents more than one month ago, but 1.2 cents less than one year ago, and has dropped $1.383 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
