A man injured while working in a large tree in Garden Grove was rescued Saturday by Orange County Fire Authority firefighters.

The firefighters were called to the home shortly after 12:30 p.m. Saturday and found the man about 25 feet up in the tree and in need of paramedic-level care, the OCFA posted on X.

The firefighters used ground ladders to retrieve to the patient and begin his care while he was in the tree, OCFA officials said.

Anaheim Fire and Rescue firefighters helped lower him to the ground, where he was treated and taken to a hospital, department officials said.
