The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose for the third consecutive day Sunday, increasing four-tenths of a cent to $4.632.
The average price is 2.2 cents less than one week ago, 15.6 cents less than one month ago and 41.4 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.862 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price dropped a half-cent to $4.571, following three consecutive increases. It is 1 cent less than one week ago, 11.7 cents less than one month ago and 40.8 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.888 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price decreased a half-cent to $3.506. It is a half-cent more than one week ago and three-tenths of a cent more than one month ago, but 22.6 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.51 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
