The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County is unchanged Monday at $4.61, a day after rising four-tenths of a cent.
The average price is eight-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 4.3 cents more than one month ago, but 88.6 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.884 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent to $4.535, a day after rising three-tenths of a cent. It is 1.3 cents more than one week ago and 5.5 cents more than one month ago, but 92.4 cents less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.924 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped three-tenths of a cent to $3.27, a day after dropping eight-tenths of a cent and its 24th decrease in the past 25 days.
It is 6.1 cents less than one week ago, 18.4 cents less than one month ago and 55.3 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.746 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
