The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Saturday for the 18th time in the last 19 days, slipping three-tenths of a cent to $4.66.

The average price is 4.8 cents less than one week ago, 11.2 cents less than a month ago and 28.1 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.834 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price dropped three-tenths of a cent to $4.626, one day after increasing two-tenths of a cent. It is 4 cents less than one week ago, 12.4 cents less than a month ago and 26.9 cents less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.833 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price dropped four-tenths of a cent to $3.079. It is 1.6 cents less than one week ago, 8.1 cents less than one month ago and 35.9 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.937 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
