The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Sunday for the 12th consecutive day, slipping three-tenths of a cent to $4.694, its lowest amount since March 27.

The average price has dropped 11.2 cents over the past 12 days, including six-tenths of a cent Saturday, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It is 5.6 cents less than one week ago, 6.9 cents less than one month ago and 21 cents less than one year ago. The average price has dropped $1.799 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price dropped for the 12th time in 13 days, decreasing two-tenths of a cent to $4.605, its lowest amount since March 25. It has dropped 11 cents over the past 13 days, including 1.1 cents Saturday. It is 5.5 cents less than one week ago, 10.5 cents less than one month ago and 19.6 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.853 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price dropped six-tenths of a cent to $3.125. It is 1.8 cents less than one week ago, 2.7 cents less than one month ago and 33.1 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.891 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
