The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County remained unchanged Sunday at $4.479.
The average price is 1.1 cents more than one week ago, but 2.5 cents less than one month ago and 8.6 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the American Automobile Association and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.014 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price rose for the eighth consecutive day, increasing eight-tenths of a cent to $4.448. It is 2.9 cents more than one week ago, two-tenths of a cent more than one month ago, and 4.9 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $2.01 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price declined four-tenths of a cent to $3.138. It is one-tenth of a cent less than one week ago, 2.2 cents less than one month ago and 28.3 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.878 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
