The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped a half-cent Sunday to $6.075, its 12th decrease in the last 13 days.

The average price has fallen 13.7 cents over the past 13 days, including 2.6 cents Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 8.9 cents less than one week ago and 2.9 cents less than one month ago, but $1.317 more than one year ago.

The average price has increased $1.381 since the joint U.S./Israel attack on Iran began Feb. 28, moving within 41.9 cents of the record $6.494 set on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price dropped for the 17th time in 18 days, falling 1.1 cents to $5.984. It has dropped 20.8 cents over the past 18 days, including 3.1 cents Saturday.

It is 13.4 cents less than one week ago and 8.5 cents less than one month ago, but $1.317 more than one year ago. The Orange County average price has increased $1.348 since the attack on Iran, moving within 47.5 cents of the record $6.459 set on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price dropped for the 10th consecutive day, decreasing 2 cents to $4.336. It has dropped 22.8 cents over the past 10 days, including 3.5 cents Saturday.

The national average price is 17.9 cents less than one week ago, but 3.6 cents more than one month ago and $1.185 more than one year ago. It has risen $1.354 since the attack on Iran, moving within 68 cents of the record $5.016 set on June 14, 2022.
