A person who suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Blythe Saturday had to be freed from the wreckage by firefighters.
The collision occurred at about 11 a.m. on Interstate 10 near Mesa Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The person who suffered serious injuries was taken to a hospital via an air ambulance after being cut out of the wreckage by emergency crews, fire officials said.
Two adults and two children who were also involved in the crash were uninjured.
Details about what led to the crash were not immediately available.
